Three more Philippine firms continue to do the country proud in the spirit of corruption. The World Bank blacklisted Philippine firms Cavite Ideal International Construction and Development Corp. and CM Pancho Construction Inc. for four years, and E.C. de Luna Construction Corp. was barred permanently. Aren’t you proud of being a Filipino? Three out of the seven construction firms tainted with corruption around the world were from the Philippines! That’s the goddamn spirit.

worldbank

The newspaper headline gave the bad news that the World Bank had blacklisted three Philippine construction firms for corrupt practices, but on closer reading, the body showed even more awful news. The WB barred only seven such firms worldwide: Three were Filipino, and a fourth, though Korean, was caught with its hand in the till in a Philippine project.

  1. Well, thanks to WB they made the world safer and exposed another Philippines world record on corruption. MABUHAY! (dapat mamatay pala).

    • I know World Bank doesn’t really have the moral ascendancy to crack down corruption, since they too have some corruption issues, but the Philippines has gone way, way overboard. Geez. 3 out of 7 firms are from our country! Anu ba yan?! It’s sad though, the bad asses have longer lives. Di pa sila mamamatay agad. :(

  2. HA HA HA!
Bad asses really do have longer lives– a long time mystery.

  3. well, mas maingay ang latang walang laman. ^^
